Infrastructure & services of the Department of Music Studies Building infrastructure

The Department of Music Studies does not have its own facilities, but is housed in premises provided by the School of Agricultural Technology. Despite the difficulties, all members of the Department ensure that there is no impact on the quality of teaching and that the curriculum is implemented consistently.

The available infrastructure of the Department includes:

Α. Classrooms

The department has 5 classrooms (A1, A2, A3, Amphitheatre, Computer Laboratory), which are spacious, with sound equipment and slide projectors for lectures, while the Computer Laboratory is suitably equipped for laboratory applications.

Β. Music Lab classrooms

Instrumental Skills and Music Ensembles Labs take place in the Studio, and in 4 spacious Laboratories: Oriental Music, Urban Folk Music, Traditional Music, Music Pedagogy and in an additional 7 small classrooms of 12-15 sq.m. Music Labs are also held in the Rehearsal Hall and a number of small laboratories, which are made available to students for study.

All rooms are available 12 hours a day, from 8:00 to 20:00.
